Face Painting & Glitter Tattoos
These services are an amazing form of entertainment for any occasion; especially if your event or party has children present. However, these services are not limited to children, I also offer services for all adult parties as well; such as elegant/artistic eyes called Dazzle Me Glamorous, neon UV black light, sugar skulls, a specific party theme, as well as Paint and Craft parties.
FACE PAINTING is an artistic form of self-expression and imagination. The designs typically last for one day. Its a great opportunity for photos and creating precious memories! My professional face paints dry quickly; they are water-activated and wash off easily with a cloth, soap, and water. I have a variety of bright colorful face paints and powders. I also offer a large variety of design options (quick or detailed).... and glitter is included.
GLITTER TATTOOS are also great for any celebration, but especially at pool parties or hot weather since they are waterproof, They last approximately for 3 days up to a week! They appeal to a wide range of ages as well. Also, if a guest doesn't want glitter tattoos, I also offer temporary ink (specifically for the skin) and colorful powders as an alternate option, using the same design stencils. Because these tattoos are waterproof, they are a great alternative to face painting, as some bounce house rental companies don't allow face painting - check your contract.
In addition, I offer a variety of OTHER SERVICES like Festival Glitter Bar, Henna Hand Art, or Dazzle Me Glamorous elevated face paint face and eye designs, and more. All are described in more detail further down this page.

PRICING / TYPES OF EVENTS:
For PRIVATE PARTIES, I can offer a CLIENT PAID service, free to your guests, for FACE PAINTING or GLITTER TATTOOS or FESTIVAL GLITTER (or have two options but guests choose one design = either / or). My fee starts at $215 (local to 94509/94531) or $225 if elsewhere. This fee includes a 2-hour service for 20 guests or less. The maximum number I offer for 2 hours is 25 guests, which are simpler designs or glitter tattoos. I don't offer 1 hour services, 2 hours is my minimum, even if you have less than 20 guests. My designs are artistic and take time, but it is why clients ask me back. If you have around 10 guests or less, I can do 2 designs each for 2 hours, or they can get one face paint design and one glitter tattoo. Additional hours needed are approximately $75 - $100 per hour. There is a $50-$100 non-refundable BOOKING fee, which is required upfront to reserve the date/time for your event. The booking is only payable using the electronic methods shown below. All of this applies to Festival Glitter Bar and Henna Hand Art, as well. Distances beyond 30 miles, require tolls or parking fees will be an additional travel fee starting at $15 and an additional $1 for per mile beyond 45 miles. My fees are generally determined by the type of services, types of designs, # of guests to be painted, and the location. Certain specialized services, custom menus, and other "add-on" services may require a small additional fee, typically ranging between $25 - $100.
For PUBLIC EVENTS / CORP EVENTS - OPTION #1, I can offer a CLIENT PAID service, free to your guests/patrons, ranging from $250 to $400, depending on the service and time needed, travel fee (if applicable), and add-on fees. A $100 non-refundable BOOKING fee is required upfront for public events to reserve the date/time for your event. The booking fee is applied toward your balance due no later than before I begin services on the day of your event. The booking fee is only payable using electronic payment methods shown below. As you the CLIENT are paying my service fee, this allows your guests or patrons to get one design each with NO COST to them. Typically, I will offer a QUICKER version of designs to be able to service more people, but approximately 15 per hour and 4 hour session is my maximum... so max 60 people. Understand that these services are an art form that takes time, and my designs are above average. If your public event is expecting above 60 people, then you would need to hire another painter or understand that I will paint as many as possible, but when my time is done I will stop. I will close the line about 30-45 minutes before my session time is done to finish who is left in the line. I am the only face painter, but I do have a helper who can do glitter tattoos at the same time. Additional hours needed are approximately $75 - $100 per hour.
For PUBLIC EVENTS / CORP EVENTS - OPTION #2, I can offer a PAY PER DESIGN service, where your guests/patrons pay me direct for their own design. This is for public events typically. However, for my time and expense to attend and setup, regardless of number of patrons in attendance, a non-refundable $100 GUARANTEED flat service fee from you the hiring CLIENT is required at booking to hold your date and time. If you cancel my services, cancel your event, or make any changes outlined in my confirmation email at booking, the $100 is non-refundable. However, if I should be the one to cancel my services for illness or unforeseen circumstances, only then will I return that $100 fee to you using the same method you paid it. When each patron pays me direct for their design, I accept cash (exact change), but I also offer a variety of electronic payment methods (see below). I will post signage that indicates the price breakdown for each type of design. Most will pay electronically, and the patron shows me payment was made before they get the design.
For PAY PER DESIGN fees and also for TIPS from the public, I will post pricing signage as well as a QR CODE sign with various electronic payment methods at every event.
HOW TO GET A QUOTE & BOOK ME (HIRE):
In order to book my services for your event, the following steps must occur.

First READ the following and then go to my QUOTE page to complete the form at the bottom of the page and click submit to request a Quote. You can call or TEXT me anytime for questions, but all the information I will need is indicated in that form and the steps are described below.

I require a minimum of 7 days prior notice to book your event date, sooner is better, but not more than 2 months ahead. The Summer months, as well as October and December, are busier dates for my services, so please contact me soon or I may not be available. If you require custom frames, props, or any hand-crafted items, I require 2 weeks to 1 month prior notice, sooner if possible.

Then I (Tina), may need to communicate with you via TEXT, phone call, or email, where I discuss your answers from the REQUEST A QUOTE form submitted. I will need to ask questions about the details of your event and the venue especially, to make sure I am the right fit and I am able to service your event. I have some requirements and a few physical limitations, so understanding the venue and setup site is essential. It is important to read all of this section "What You Need To Know About My Services" on this page. Please especially READ my REQUIREMENTS and SPECIAL NOTE topics described below, before moving forward.

After all the questions are answered, and I believe I am able to provide services for your event, I will provide you with a QUOTE.

You will then need to let me know (preferably in writing) if you want to HIRE / BOOK ME (text is fine). If you leave me a message on my voicemail, text, email, or social media, I MUST reply to you, acknowledging and accepting your request to hire me, in order for you to officially book my services. If you do not hear from me within a few days, please reach out again via text.

Once booked/hired, I will send you a detailed CONTRACT via EMAIL, which will summarize the details you gave me about your event, and a list of my terms and conditions. You MUST PROVIDE AN EMAIL to book my services, as my confirmation/contract is too long for a standard text.

Then you the CLIENT, will need to REPLY to my email within 24 hours from when I send you the email, agreeing to my terms and conditions in order to hold your booking date. I will also require your payment for the booking / guarantee fee within 24 hours as well, in order to continue to move forward.

Once the above steps are completed, I will acknowledge I have received your email agreeing to terms and conditions, and also confirm when I receive your booking fee. Then you are set! The next time I contact you will be a "check-in" the day or two before your event, to confirm basic details like location and time, close parking arrangements, and address any concerns there may be about the weather, etc.
If you have any changes after the booking process is complete, please contact me immediately via TEXT with the changes, and at least 1 week prior to the scheduled event. I will try to accommodate your changes, if I am able to. If I cannot accommodate your changes, be aware that the previously paid booking fee is still non-refundable. However, if I should cancel my services for your event due to unforeseen personal circumstances, illness, or any other reason, then I will return your booking fee and any additional money you previously paid me within 15 days. Return payments must be processed electronically, usually by the same method you used to pay me.

PAY OPTIONS: I do not accept personal checks, but I do accept electronic payments, and cash as well (no change). I can make an exception, and will accept a business check for final payment, if it is mailed and received at least a full week prior to the event. The check must also clear my account. Remember the Booking Fee to hold your event date and time, or the Guarantee Fee as minimum payment for services at pay per design events, must be pre-paid electronically by one of the following payment methods listed below. The remaining balance is due no later than BEFORE my scheduled start time on the day of your event. I cannot begin services until I've confirmed receipt of your balance in full. I will only wait 15 minutes, attempting to reach you.
I can also provide an INVOICE, W9, or an Additional Insured certificate upon request, at least 1 week prior to your party or event.

MY REQUIREMENTS: I require a CLOSE PARKING space reserved for my vehicle (let's discuss), and some assistance bringing in supplies, if needed. When I arrive, I will call/text you. I DRIVE A DARK GRAY MINIVAN.
It is the CLIENT's responsibility to provide a clean, safe, level and firm surface to place my table and chairs, as well as a
covered area, protected from weather and the sun for the duration of the scheduled time. Good lighting is always required,
whether indoors out outside, and especially if your event is scheduled during SUNDOWN hours. If you are not able to
provide any of these requirements, please let me know ASAP, but no later than 1 week prior to your event date. We can
come up with a solution.
As mentioned above, when your event or my station is to be set up OUTDOORS, then you need to provide a light source, and either a popup covering, patio, large moveable patio umbrella, or tent. Direct sun, wind, and rain can affect or damage my paints and supplies and even delay the time it takes for each design. Paints can dry too quickly, requiring constant re-application of water; it's a real issue. Further, if weather conditions are persistent or unsafe, and OUTSIDE temperature is forecasted to be above 90 degrees or below 65 degrees, then you should plan an INSIDE set-up option, with good lighting and a comfortable temperature. If there is no inside option available, then a setup in a garage can work. Large trees can be an option for shade, but if they are known to have debris that falls, such as pine trees, then that is not an option as it contaminates my paints and supplies. We can discuss conditions and possible solutions at booking.
I also require a setup area that is approximately 7 ft square or greater for private parties, or a 10x10 ft area for public events.
I bring everything I need for my services including tables, chairs, water, paints and supplies. If there is anything else required for your particular event, then we can discuss that at booking.
My station consists of a unique small pink case of paints and supplies that opens up for use and has a variety of components on and around it. I use one or two small folding tables for supplies, depending on the number of services offered. Sometimes an extra table is set up near me for signage or a mirror and business cards. I have a variety of signage displayed on an A-frame board or easel. I may have a few additional signs and banners if it is a public event, or pricing signage when the public is charged per design. For most private events, I have less setup, such as a birthday party with one service. I bring my own chairs and tables for my comfort with the proper height needed, as I sit when I paint or apply designs. I have a folding stool set up in front of me, that guests or patrons can sit on while I do their design. I will have a canvas wagon that helps haul supplies from my vehicle. There are still a few items that cannot fit in the wagon that I will also need assistance hauling from my van to the set up site.

SPECIAL NOTE: So that you are aware, I am a person with a disability, I use 2 canes to walk. That fact has no bearing on my talents and ability to offer a great experience. However, I do have some physical limits and restrictions for certain venues, and so I ask preliminary questions, because I want to make sure I am the right fit for your event.

Therefore, be aware that I cannot book events requiring me to walk up staircases having more than 2 steps, nor steep driveways or inclines, uneven pathways, uneven pavers, lumpy or tall grass, weeds, rocky ground, gravel, mud, or sand paths. Cement, patios, smooth pavers, or low grass, firm and even ground or flooring, are the best options for me to walk and be able to set up my station. It would be helpful if you provide me with photos of the access path, the stair steps, or any concern, to properly asses the venue conditions.

I cannot book events at LARGE parks*, venues, and rental spaces, where my set-up location may be more than approximately 50 feet walking distance from where my vehicle is parked. There are some exceptions to larger parks or other venues, if I am able to drive right up to the set-up location and park next to it, or unload and have a valet or person park the vehicle while I set up. However, small community parks with close parking are typically fine, but I will need to be told prior to booking, the location area I am to set-up so I can Google map it and see if it is an accessible walking distance for me.

I require CLOSE PARKING for parties and events at a HOUSE. My clients allow me to park in their DRIVEWAY or in front of the driveway or reserve a space in front of their home or on their property. I cannot walk or haul supplies further than the 50 feet.

I require CLOSE PARKING for parties and events at PUBLIC locations like businesses, rental facilities, parks, etc. More often, I park in the disabled or reserved parking, however, sometimes there is a closer parking near an alternate entrance that may be closer to the setup site. We will discuss this before booking, it usually all works out fine.
Additionally, when I arrive, I would greatly appreciate assistance from you, or any persons you send, to help me bring in AND return my supplies to my vehicle after I pack up. It takes me about 30 minutes after I am done with my services to pack up and be ready to haul supplies back to my vehicle. I have a canvas wagon that holds almost everything, except my chair, and sometimes an extra table or A-frame sign board (no item more than 20 lbs). I will text or call you when I arrive and 1 or 2 persons is more than plenty of help. With 2 helpers, everything can be hauled in just one trip; and two trips if just one helper. Occasionally, I can bring a helper with me to an event to assist, usually my adult daughter or husband, when they are available.
I appreciate your consideration and understanding. I believe if we expose children to positive experiences with persons with disabilities, I believe it teaches them to be kind and accepting and normalizes differences.

TYPES OF DESIGNS: As an artist, detailed painting comes natural for me and I'm in my element. I love adding all the extra glimmer and glam! and I love making people happy. However, Face Painting involves a time constraint. I can paint *DETAILED DESIGNS or a *QUICK DESIGN style, The type of designs is often determined by the number of guests and amount of scheduled time available. Sometimes I may have to adjust my detailed style to a simpler quick style to accommodate more guests. For larger events, I always offer the quicker simplified menu options. If I have time for greater details, then I will offer that. I set maximum headcount limits per hour, as I've done this form of entertainment long enough and I know what can be accomplished. This is an art form and so it will take time. My designs are above average, that is my goal, that is what brings clients back to me. Though you may have 12 or less guests to be painted, I require a 2 HOUR MINIMUM. If you have under 12 guests, they can get 2 designs each. However, if more guests come to be painted than you originally estimated at booking, it is my discretion to change the amount of detail to QUICK designs to accommodate as many guests as possible before the end of my session. If more time is needed, upon your approval and if I available for additional time, then my fee is $75 for each additional hour for private parties. If it's a larger event, corporate, or public event, then my fee is $100 for each additional hour past my originally scheduled end time.
* I offer a standard menu of DETAILED DESIGNS that include special details, linework, and sometimes glitter or gems. These designs can be . . . Masks (both eyes), One Eye, Brow/Forehead, Half Face, Cheek, Arm, Hand, Shoulder, and Leg areas. Full Faces are only done by special request or if I am hired for a Costume Makeup session. Sometimes I will agree to do a full face for a birthday child, if they want a particular design, you can request something specific.
These DETAILED designs are suggested for children 8 years old on up, and for parties that estimate a smaller group of 15 or less. If the guests are younger, I may adjust the design, depending on their attention span and ability to hold still. I don't ask guests age, I just quietly adjust my design as I feel is needed. The maximum number of guests I will paint detailed designs within 2 hours is 20.
* I also offer a menu of QUICK DESIGNS that uses less detail, less linework, and no gems. For the quick design style I use the same bright array of colors and very cute. These designs can be... a Simple Mask, One Eye, Quarter face, Brow/Forehead, Cheek, Arm, Hand, Shoulder, and Leg areas (No Half or Full Faces).
These QUICK designs are suggested for children 7 and under, and also for parties where the estimate headcount is expected to be a larger group of 20 or more, corporate, or public events. The maximum number of guests I can paint Quick designs within 2 hours is approximately 25.
If you have 25 or more guests, I need 3 hours of time, and offer a menu of quick designs, but with no glitter or gems.
My other services such as Henna, Jagua Tattoos, and Festival Glitter are similar to Face Painting in that, some designs are quicker than others. Sugar skull designs are more detailed, but I offer a quicker version of them as well. Glitter and Temp Ink Tattoos as well as Festival Glitter design are slightly faster as can accommodate a few more guests than face painting. If you select the elevating face painting service that adds the Dazzle Me Bling or Dazzle Me Glamorous Bling, these steps take a bit longer, due to both painting AND the gluing process to adhere the bling to the skin.
For both my Detailed and Quick Designs, my menus offer a large variety of over 50 design options for my standard face painting options, over 70 design options for Glitter Tattoos and the Jagua Tattoos, and 30 design options for Henna. Festival Glitter is more fluid without a menu. All of my DESIGN MENU signage are posted on my station, as well as near my station. My visual design menus have the design name and # and shows a graphic image that is a close representation of the design I will paint or apply. Samples of my various MENUs can be seen below. There are some "word" menus with visual graphic thumbnail images for design reference, these allow me to be flexible at events without a specific design. I am working on creating more of my visual menu boards showing animated faces. I also have menus that include themed design options based on common HOLIDAYS. If you have a themed event, I also offer CUSTOM THEMED designs by special request, sometimes I can just offer a couple themed designs, but more often than not, kids want what they want and not necessarily the theme the host chooses.
TAKING TURNS: As for options for guests taking turns, I will either have the guests WAIT IN A LINE (any event) or assign each kid/guest a NUMBERED TURN (private parties only).
The Numbered Turn system has been received very well. Kids or parents can write their NAME by a number on a sign-up sheet at my station. I encourage the guests to write that number on the back of their hand as a reminder; I provide a washable marker. I also may have a large visual board showing instructions and which numbered turn is next. The kids or parents can also check the sign-up sheet or the visual board (if displayed - a photo example of the signage is shown below.) With the numbered turns, guests can go eat, play, or socialize at the event, until their numbered turn is called out 2 times. If the guest does not hear their number, I will move on to the next number. If the guest who missed their turn comes back, they will be squeezed-in next to get a design. The other children are also great helpers to find the other kids. All guests are welcome to stay and watch around my station as many children like to do, but they do not need to stay in any line or in any particular order. They can come and go and check and see what #d turn I am working on.
For private parties held in PUBLIC places like parks, where there are other kids not a part of your guest list, I will provide you or the host with #d Tyvek wristbands to hand out, as only you will know who your guests are, I will not. It is important to only offer services to your guests or I will not have enough time.
For parties/events where I am required to set up far away from where the guests/kids can hear me or if there is a DJ or loud music playing, the Wait In Line option is best. I assess the event setup, and if practical, I offer the Numbered Turns. I only give out numbered turns in the quantity of guests I agreed to paint for the scheduled time. I keep track of the #d turns. For the wait in line option, I try to let people know verbally, as well as posting the time the line is closed on signage; usually 30 minutes or more AHEAD of my scheduled end time (at my discretion), otherwise there is no ending. The line closing does not mean that I stop painting yet, it just means I have to limit those who wait in line so they are not surprised or disappointed because my time has ended.
If you have more guests than expected, upon your approval and my availability, we can add additional time starting at $75 per hour.

Alternate option
SAFETY: My helper and I have had several rounds of Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters as recommended. If you or your guests have been exposed to Covid, please let me know immediately. Be aware, I may or may not choose to wear a mask or shield while painting and interacting with you and your guests. I typically have not been wearing a mask since I have been vaccinated and if I show no symptoms. If I have any cold-like symptoms, I will always test before the event to rule Covid out. If I just have a slight cold or allergies and am coughing or sneezing, I will wear a mask or face shield and let you know ahead of time when able. If I do get Covid or a severe flu or any severe illness prior to your event, then I will have to cancel my services, and I will give you as much notice as I am able to.
I use FDA approved professional face/body paints and cosmetic grade supplies. I make every reasonable attempt to sterilize my supplies, tools, and myself, and perform standard industry safety practices. I use several water cups with antibacterial soap for rinsing brushes, as well as a rubbing alcohol dip for the last step. I only use one sponge per color per person. If applying anything on the lips, I use a one-time use disposable lip wand. As an extra step, I may also use alcohol wipes to sterilize the area of skin where a design is applied (Glitter Tattoos and Henna/Jaguar Gel especially) to prevent cross-contamination of my paints, products, and brushes.
It is the expectation that each guest or parent of guests use discretion before getting a painting, tattoo, henna, or other type of design on the skin, if they have known allergies to certain dyes, paints, etc. I have never had anyone let me know they had a reaction. However, I can always offer a SKIN TEST to guests, if they are not sure or are concerned about a reaction to any of my paints, glues, henna, or ingredients or dyes in any of my supply products. Guests may choose at their own risk whether to receive these services or not. A skin test will take about 10-15 minutes wait time, using the products and colors for the design they select. My signage mentions a skin test is available; see example signage below.
THERE ARE A FEW RULES: (posted on signage at each event)
Please be advised that I cannot paint any person who is ill or appears ill (including end of colds or allergies where mucus, tears, sneezing or coughing are present). I cannot paint guests on any area that has a rash, redness of skin, scratches, wounds, or dirty face/skin. It is at my discretion if it is safe to paint another area of the body instead. It is the responsibility of the parent to clean the child's face, or the child themselves. I do not apply designs on children's FACES under 3 years as their immune systems are still developing, their skin is more sensitive than older kids, and so it is not worth the risk of a reaction, even if a parent says it is okay. I also will not paint children who do not want to be painted, crying or pulling away from me or my helpers. Additionally, I cannot paint any person who mistreats me, my helpers, or other guests. It is not my responsibility to police bad behavior, but if it affects me or my station, I may need to address it. The most common issue I have is young children being left unattended and they want to touch, grab, and take items from my station. I may need your assistance if a child becomes persistent and controllable, misbehaving or fighting in line, as I cannot paint well-behaved guests if I have to continually manage their behavior. I may bring these problematic situations, or safety concerns, to your awareness (as the host/client) to handle directly, so I can continue my services with the other guests/patrons who. It is IMPORTANT for me not to have to find you, but to provide me a cell # or alternate # the day of the event (volume on), so I can contact you immediately.
NOTE: safety concerns can also be extreme weather conditions, animal or insect annoyances or attacks, or occurrences around my station or at the venue that make us feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. Though these problematic situations are a rare occurrence, as is the need to pack up and leave, but be advised that it is always at my discretion as to whether I or my helpers will or will not be able to offer a service to any guest.
Good news, if a child cannot be painted or tattooed due to any of the listed health conditions, afraid to get a design, or if they have arrived too late to be included in the queue, I may offer them either a cute sticker, temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy, so they receive something. 😍

I offer face painting and costume makeup for Sugar Skull themed party/events or if celebrating Día de los Muertos and want a professional face painter to make your designs sparkle on kids and/or adults.
Full Face & Body painting available for individual PRIVATE sessions, which would include a full-face sugar skull design. It may also include the neck and/or neck and chest, or the arms, not full body. The design would include products such as face paints, powders, glitter, gems, and gem bling. The Gem Bling are pre-made clusters of gems and variety of beads, glitter, and charms, sometimes dragonfly or butterfly wings or feathers. They are charms that accent the design, glued on skin using skin glue, medical tape, or wig tape.
For PARTIES and EVENTS, I offer only half-face or quarter-face (one-eye) sugar skull designs to keep line moving. The size and amount of detail in designs I offer will be determined by session time available and number of people to be painted. However, for your personal design (as the host/client or guest of honor only), if you have a photo of a particular design that you found online, even if it is a graphic design, I can paint it for you. You can customize what you want from more than one design as well. I can sketch it and you can approve; or you can let me surprise you.
Pricing for a PRIVATE SESSION, I have a minimum $100 sitting fee. If I have to travel more than 15 miles outside of my area 94509, then there may be a small additional travel fee. After the $100 minimum sitting fee (which includes a maximum 2 full faces or 1 face & body), for each additional person, a full-face design would be $45 per person. If a person wants to add the body (neck, chest, it would be $70 per person. Then to also include arms, it would $100 per person. Any additional areas you want to be painted would need to be discussed.
Pricing for PARTIES / EVENTS, I paint only 1/2 face per person or a 1/4 face per person (one-eye area) because this type of design is more detailed. I will include glitter at no charge, but don't offer Gem Bling for a party to keep the line moving. If your guest list is a small group of 10 or less, then Gems & Gem Bling can be included. For larger parties of over 15, up to 25 max, I can offer a quick version of a 1/4 face, see photo below, lower right*. Sugar Skull themed face painting parties are priced the same as face painting; fee starts $215 (local) or $225, for a minimum of 2 hours for PRIVATE parties with 15-20 guests maximum, or 25 guests maximum for the quicker designs. Half faces take additional time. For each additional hour there is a $75 service fee.

This is a Face & Body Painting service, handled the same as the traditional service, but for parties where BLACK LIGHTS are present and the NEON glow is a part of the theme. I use my regular face paints and especially the ones with neon color glow effect under the lights. I also use powders and glitters that glow brightly as well. The design will look good in the regular light, but under the black lights, it will appear slightly different as the light with only show the colors that will glow... two designs in one! I have a UV light at my station not only so I can see the effect as I paint it, but so the guests can see the glow affect afterwards. My service fee does not include providing the actual black lights around the room or venue, it only includes my artistic face painting services. You can buy LED blacklights or rent larger ones. Some DJs already have them as part of their services.

Dazzle Me Bling!

For that EXTRA special effect, I can add my Dazzle Me Bling! to specific face paint designs. The bling is added to each design, typically designs around an eye or forehead, using a special skin glue or medical tape. Some bling (especially the ones boys like), can also be applied to a design on the arm or hand as well.
These bling clusters are all hand-made by me, accessory pieces, which can be made of sparkling gems, pearls, beads, charms, filigree, feathers, butterfly and dragonfly wings, glitter, etc. This bling service is more popular for girls parties, however, I have a few options that interests boys as well, such as 3D horns, monster claws, snake and dragon eyes, spiders, creatures, and silly googly eyed characters. Just let me know if you will have boys attending. I can also just offer the boys a traditional face paint design with no bling at all.
Plus, your guests get to take home the bling. It can be reapplied again for fun or for another party! Some kids have made them a collectable, while some choose to repurpose them as a burette, jewelry, craft embellishment, pen/pencil decoration, or cell phone /drink tumbler decoration. Adults may use them for crafting or a gift-top ornament.
This is an add-on service to my Face Painting fee, therefore there is a small additional $20 fee per every 5 guests.

This is a newer service I am offering. I am looking for clients interested in something new! It is a service for teens and/or adult parties and events like birthdays, ladies' nights in or out on the town, showers, wedding party accents, ladies' retreats, empowerment parties, Mardi Gras or Vegas themed occasions. The party can simply be an informal feel-good experience, or a more formal or semi-formal event. While I am looking to build my own photo portfolio of these designs, I've displayed a few industry examples of such designs, that are the style of what I am offering.
This is a Face Painting service that is elevated by adding extra glitter, gems, or a 3D gem bling accent to my design. They designs are not characters or cartoons, but more elegant, using graphic art, patterns, textures, shapes and florals, with some extra sparkle from festival glitter, and iridescent, metallic or matte powders. I often match the color or patterns in your guest's clothing, so the design is an accessory to their attire. A 3D accent may be applied to a design, it is known as a GEM BLING cluster. The bling may have one or more of gems, rhinestones, pearls, beads, fairy wings (dragonfly or butterfly organza wings), feathers, jewelry charms, or other accessories combined into an ornamentation. They are typically applied to a design around one eye or the forehead using a special skin glue or medical tape. The eye bling can also be described as a jewelry charm for the face, which elevates the face painting and looks very glamorous and magical!
An assortment of the bling is brought to the party, and I select a bling that complements the face paint design; and on occasion I may ask the guest for their favorite option. But not all designs need a bling, sometimes the glitter and patterns are amazing alone.
Most of the bling is favored by girls or ladies, however, even adult men (or women) who aren't into the sparkly gems, feathers and wing styles, can enjoy a design with less bling, more of an elevated patterned and graphic design. I discuss options with each guest.
Plus, your guests get to take home the bling and maybe reapply it for another event! Others my choose to repurpose them as a burette, gift topper, craft embellishment, cell phone or drink tumbler decoration. These BLING are pre-made and all hand-crafted, ready for use at your party.

PRICING: The fee for this private PARTY service starts at $225 for 15 people for a 2-hour session. For each 5 additional guests, there is a $50 fee. For this service there is a 20-guest maximum, which is approximately 2.5 to 3 hour session. If there are additional people, it will take additional time. Ask for a quote ahead of time, as I need to book this event at least 2 weeks ahead of your date.

I offer COSTUME MAKEUP private sessions, either individually or a small group or family. I can paint just the face or both face and body. This service uses the same professional products as my face painting services. I can also apply prosthetics and make costume accessories and props, given enough prior notice. Time for a costume makeup per person will vary greatly, depending on design, detail, and if we have to apply prosthetics or attached props, etc.
We can discuss what you want and go over photo examples. I can also provide a sketch or draft painting to give you an idea of what I would paint.
My service fee per individual for just the face / body painting starts at $25 for a simple face design and upwards of $200 per individual for more detailed face and body painting plus prosthetic application. I have a minimum sitting fee of $50 local to Antioch, and $100 minimum sitting fee for locations over 20 miles away. Cost for special supplies, prostetics and supply costs to make accessories and props are additional on case-by-case basis.

Pre-Natal Belly Art
In a private session, I offer custom designs for Pre-Natal Belly Art where I paint a custom design on the belly of the pregnant mother, or belly and chest. We can discuss your theme or inspiration for the design you want painted. I will sketch the design for your approval and then we schedule an appointment to begin painting. Often mothers want to hire a photographer or have someone they know take photos for a keepsake memory of their pregnancy. I do not offer photography myself; my fee is based upon my painting artistry services.
For a PRIVATE SESSION for belly painting, my fee starts at $100 locally and an additional fee ($1 per mile) may be added to travel outside my area 94509. Painting will take 1-3 hours+ to complete, depending on the design detail and coverage. I will also include glitter and gem bling to enhance the design, if desired. Also, if the mother wants to include other areas of the body other than just the belly, that is an additional fee of $50-$75. Sometimes the mother wants to include the breasts in the design. I do use nipple covers that are applied to the breasts using professional skin glue before painting. Let's discuss details.
IMPORTANT: We will do a skin test before applying nipple covers, and the mother should always consult their physician before scheduled session about using skin glue. I can provide the name of product, and a photo of the label and ingredients, upon request. Also, a skin test with paints will be done at same time before we begin. Allow 15 minutes at beginning of the session to do the skin tests. Be advised that Tina Tanwani and Whimsy Wise are not liable for any reaction, mother must assume the risk signing consent at session.

I offer a Festival Glitter Bar, either alone or as an add-on service. This service focuses on the Glitter and Sparkle that highlights an area of the face, collarbone, shoulder, arm, hand, eyes or bone structure, often complementing a guest's attire. I can even highlight a part of the hair, mustache or beard with glitter. A Festival Glitter Bar is most popular with teens and adults, mostly feminine tastes, but males are very welcome to enjoy the sparkle. At your party/event or private session, I present my BAR of options of glitter, gems, and powders that a guest can select their colors and where they want the design applied. Many of the glitter cream options have a combination of shapes like stars, hearts, moons, etc., mixed in with various sizes of cosmetic glitter, it's quite fabulous! I use either a cream base with a combination of natural shea butter, coconut oils, sometimes beeswax, as well as gels to apply and adhere the glitter and powders to the skin or hair, which are washable. I may use the same base ingredients as well as premade glitter creams and glitter hair sprays from professional distributors, and for applying the same products to hair. If you select to include the gems, pearls, or ice bling as an "add-on" to elevate the service, I use a professional skin safe cosmetic glue, medical tape, or wig tape.
As the artist and bar tender, I will apply the products to the guest, they do not apply it to themselves. It's fun and glamorous! This service is a real highlight (wink!) to any occasion... Think concert, meets prom, meets Coachella.
GLOWING OPTION #1: (only glitter designs - STAND-ALONE service for larger group/party)
This option is the application of only festival glitter products that will highlight one small area on the face, body or hair.

Glitter Tattoos & Temp Ink Tattoos

GLITTER TATTOOS are temporary and waterproof and they can last about a week! These tattoos are great for any occasion, but especially great for pool parties and extra hot days. Also, if you rent a jump house, check your contract as some rental companies do not allow face painting. Glitter Tattoos is a great alternative, and all ages love them.
The tattoos are applied using a sticker stencil and skin glue, then adding glitter over the glue. I use colorful cosmetic grade glitter, powders, and even a special temporary skin ink as well. The ink is an alternative if your guest doesn't want glitter or wants the design to look more like a real tattoo. In addition to the more temp ink, I also can offer older guests these stencil tattoo designs using a variety of colors with Jaqua Gel (stains skins with a 30 min dry time, Jagua Gel and Henna are not recommended for kids under 12). The gel stain will last many days as well, depending on skin exfoliation and after-care.
I have a variety of my popular standard Glitter Tattoo Designs (over 70) for your guests to choose from. In addition, I can offer holiday design stencils or themed stencils. Each guest gets one design on the arm, hand, shoulder or leg; the face is not recommended.
Remember, you can hire me for Glitter Tattoos alone, where I offer one design per guest, or alongside another service like Face Painting. My OPTIONAL service can offer each guest an option of EITHER a face paint OR a glitter/ink tattoo design at no additional service charge (unless Henna or Jagua Gel Tattoos are the second service, then there is an additional $25 fee added to the overall service fee*). But my DOUBLE service is where you select for me to offer each guest BOTH service options = ONE design of EACH (for smaller parties under 12 guests as it requires double time to do both).

Henna Hand Art

HENNA is 100 % natural. It is derived from the leaves of the henna plant, Lawsonia Inermis. The powdered form is typically made into a paste and applied to the skin in patterns as a form of body art, also known as MEHNDI, and originally began in Asia. Henna has now gained popularity all over the world. I offer HENNA HAND ART. It is waterproof and can last a week or more, but is ultimately temporary, as it will fade as your skin exfoliates. How fast it fades depends on each person's skin and the aftercare given to the henna design. How long you leave it on your skin will also dictate the intensity of stain. At a party, guests typically want to remove the dried paste in about 30 minutes to an hour; for longest lasting stain, it recommended to leave it on for several hours. Traditional Henna designs are beautiful, intricate and detailed. Typically, it can be a long process to apply the traditional designs on hands and feet for a wedding for some cultures, for example. However, I do not offer that style of intricate traditional henna, instead my design menu was created in mind with offering simpler, fun designs for all ages, both male and female. See my example menu below, offering 30 designs for your guests to choose from.
Each of my henna designs are applied on the hand with the henna paste and then allowed to dry a minimum of 30-45+ minutes. When the paste is fully dry and tightens on the skin, the paste can start to flake off the skin naturally, then eventually you can remove any remaining dry henna. The longer you leave it on, the deeper the color will be and can last longer, typically 7-10 days, possibly longer. After the paste is dry, you can use water to clean off the design on the skin, but no soap, oil, lotion, alcohol, sanitizer, or scrubbing initially. Those products are not recommended as the stain sets and begins to darken, if you want to sustain the life of the design on the skin. Be aware that getting henna is a long game, a few minutes/hours of patience, for a week or more of enjoying the design. So, henna doesn't have the instant satisfaction like face painting or tattoos, as initially the first day the henna only stains the skin with a light orange/brown appearance. Then within a couple days, it gets darker to a deep reddish brown. Also, each henna design can vary slightly from person to person, as it is an art form.
Henna is naturally brown only. There are black henna products sold on the market, but they have harsh chemicals that can damage the skin, so I do not use them. If you want black or even a variety of colors for your guests, I can offer Henna style designs using sticker stencils with a natural product called Jagua Gel. This gel is made from Jagua fruit, with no chemicals. The gels consistency is more difficult to use freehand, so that is why I use it with the sticker stencils. It stains the skin like Henna, which takes about the same 30-45 minutes to dry, but the longer the guest leaves it on, the stain becomes more intense. The gel is applied much like the Glitter Tattoo process, using a premade sticker stencil that is purchased, applying it to the skin after its cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Then, when the gel dries, the sticker stencil is removed, revealing the crisp design to be enjoyed for many days.
In addition, if a guest doesn't want a long-term commitment on their skin, I can use Tattoo Pens as an alternate option, to create the same designs on my menu. The pens come in a variety of colors, lasts for a couple days, but not as long as the real herbal henna. I use these pens on all the kids under 12 at a party where only Henna is offered. We can discuss the right options for your event.
My Henna Hand Art is recommended for ages 12 and older, and exceptions can be made, but I prefer not younger than 10. However, be aware that the henna paste can smear easily when wet and can ruin a design unrepairable. It can rub off onto clothing, rugs, or furniture, if the person is not as mature, or hyper-active, cannot hold still, or is doing other activities during the initial drying time. So, if you don't want to risk staining at the home or venue, then I can use quick drying Tattoo Pens on the younger ones under 12. I can also add a little glitter cream to their pen design, and they are usually happy. I can also use brown/black face paints to create the same henna designs on younger ones, that can wash off easily at the end of the day. The kids still feel like they are getting what the older teens and grownups are getting.
But also consider adding on another alternate service option, like Glitter Tattoos or Face Painting, that are just for the younger guests.
So, in summary, when hired for Henna Hand Art for ages 12 and older, adding the alternate option of using Tattoo Pens (that last a few days), or using brown/black face paint to create a henna design on kids, there is no additional charge. However, adding traditional face painting or glitter tattoos as an alternate option for the kids attending the event, there is a smaller additional fee of $50 is there are 10 kids or less, not getting henna.
As the client, please be advised that because the henna can stain (including the dry flakes), it is your responsibility to assign a safe designated area for henna service, and drying area, or cover any flooring. I am not responsible for any staining of clothes, flooring, furniture, or any surface caused by anyone attending your event, nor am I responsible for floor cleanup.
Also, sometimes people discover they are allergic to Henna plant or the Jagua Gel. They are 100% natural, but so are peanuts, milk, and other natural things that many are allergic to. I will post a sign that says I can offer a 10-minute skin test to anyone wanting these designs if they are not sure or are concerned about a reaction to these products. This also applies to skin tests for any of my face paints and supply products. It is up to each guest (or parents of minors) to get the test, ultimately it is their own risk.
For the Henna Hand Art (or Jagua tattoo) services, each guest gets one design each on the hand or arm only. In most cases, the Henna service is offered alone and not usually with any other services, with the exception of providing an alternate option using Tattoo Pens or brown/black face paint for younger guests, at no additional charge.
However, if you want to add an alternate service option of my regular face painting or glitter tattoos with a variety of designs to choose from for the younger kids in addition to my henna service for 12 and above, there would be a smaller additional charge ($50 for additional supplies and time for those kids' services, depending on number of kids expected).
The fee for Henna and Jaqua Gel designs starts at $225 local to 94509 or $250 for other location, and travel fee my apply if over 15 miles. That fee is for 20 persons or less, taking about 2 hours' time. Additional persons or subsequent time must be approved by me 1 week prior to the event date. Each additional hour is $75.

Paint Parties

I offer Paint Parties as a form of entertainment for you and your guests; for children (ages 5 and up), adults, or both. It is more like an event, in that the process is about 2 hours, sometimes more, depending upon the complexity of the design selected, the number of guests, their skill level, as well as the type of materials.
Traditionally, painting is done on a CANVAS. For my parties, I typically outline an image onto canvas prior to the event as a guide for guests with varying skill levels. I show an example of my work as a guide.
Painting can also be done on ROCKS, CERAMIC, GLASS, PAPER MACHE', CHALKBOARDS, or WOOD (i.e. birdhouses, boxes, letters, and planks). Everyone participating is painting on the same type of materials.
I am the instructor and provide verbal instructions (some written) and guidance to the participants. The Fee includes all materials, and use of my paints and brushes, etc. As the host, you provide a safe indoor area or shaded outdoor area appropriate to the number of guests, and the guest tables, chairs, as well as an area for the supplies. You may also want to include a refreshment table, should you wish to offer it to your guests while we paint.
Note that a paint party can also be turned into a CRAFT LESSON as an alternate option. I have a variety of crafts for all ages. Let's discuss more.
For Paint Parties, I require a minimum of $250 fee. That fee is all inclusive; instructor's cost + materials for 10 guests. That fee equals $25 per participant, and each additional participant would cost the same. The fee can vary and may be up to $40 each for projects where the materials are more costly. As the host, you will pre-approve the fee and the design offered, and the setup arrangement accordingly. I require 50% deposit of the total due up front to cover preparation and material purchases. However, the cost of supplies, and a $50 Booking fee are non-refundable, if you should cancel. The deposit and Booking fee are deducted from your total due, and the BALANCE should be paid at the beginning of the party/event, if not before. Sometimes Adult Paint Parties are paid by each participant; a prepayment will be required 2 weeks prior, and can be paid to me direct using one of the electronic pay methods listed above. Let's discuss more. Its A LOT OF FUN for everyone!
Kids Craft Parties

I offer CRAFT PARTY services for children as well as teens and adults. The craft can match a party theme or a holiday theme for example. Choose a very simple craft option for the younger kids 7 and under, or a moderate or more intermediate skill craft option for older kids or adults. I will have a selection of options to choose from after getting more details about your party. Then, as the host/client, you select what type of craft will be made. I purchase all the supplies and provide step by step instructions on how to create the craft, with an example.
There are 4 ways I offer this service...
1. I purchase all supplies and at a scheduled time, I provide step by step instructions to guests as a group and display a pre-made example of craft.
As the host, you pay for my services. (Service Fee for prep and setup + cost of supplies, budget pre-approved)
2. I purchase all supplies and leave instructions (age appropriate) for guests to follow at a craft table, and display a pre-made example of the craft. Guests come individually to partake in craft at any point throughout the party.

3. I purchase all supplies and prepare individual kits with supplies, instructions, and a photo example for each guest to make the craft at party or bring kit home to make later (slight upcharge for preparing individual take-home kits).
As the host, you pay for my services. (Service Fee for prep and setup + kit prep + cost of supplies, budget pre-approved)
4. I purchase all supplies and at a scheduled time, I provide step by step instructions to guests as a group and display a pre-made example of craft.
As the host, you provide an area to gather, tables, and chairs for crafting time. but each guest will PRE-PAY a set fee to participate (similar to a paint party). (Guests pre-pay per person a service Fee that includes cost of supplies)
My Service Fee for prep and setup starts at $175 for 15 guests or less + $75 for each addl 5 guests + Travel Fee if over 30 mi $TBD + Supplies $TBD budget + Prepping Kits $5 each (if applicable). Average price is between $15-$35 a person, depending on craft and type of service. Let's discuss more details.
Adult Craft Parties
As mentioned above, I can also provide a step-by-step instructional CRAFT session for teens and/or adults. Whether it is for a party, a shower, ladies' night, church event, or ladies retreat, I can create, purchase, prep, and present an example craft for anyone to have fun and enjoy each other's company. Photo Opportunity Frames

These small to large Photo Opportunity Frames that are hand-crafted and hand-painted by me. I can design a unique one to match your theme and colors, and it can be personalized with names or dates and other sayings. They are held by one or more guests (depending on the size) as they stand behind the frame, while someone takes a picture as a memory keepsake. For hand held frames, I add handles on the back for guests to hold the frame easily. The frames can also be propped on decorated table with a chair or two behind it. You can also post a QR Code sign (which I can make as well), for guests to post their photos to a link so you have a copy of everyone's photo at the party as well. The frames a great way to add to the party theme and so much fun. Starting at $100, ask me for a quote.

3D Jumbo Numbers, Letters & Name for Decorations

I can also offer custom hand painted and crafted 2D and 3D Jumbo Letters, Numbers, and Names. These letters/numbers are great for themed props for parties, events, or room decor. I also offer custom letters/names made of wood or paper mache for gifts and decor. The jumbo letters/numbers for parties/events are typically about 8 inches to 36 inches tall, made of cardboard, paper mache, tissue, various card stock, pictures, paint, ink, glitter, glue, etc. They are great for that extra impact at your event.
